DETECTO's stainless steel PS11 digital portion scale can be used wherever food is weighed, portioned, or dispensed. It is portable and compact, only taking up minimal counter space. The PS11 offers five different units of measure, including 5,000 g x 2 g and 11 lb x 0.1 oz, and you can disable different units of measure if they are not needed. The display is angled upward for easy viewing. The display backlight will be turned on during weighing and will automatically turn off 5 seconds after the weight has been removed from the scale. It comes with UL/CSA-listed wall plug-in power supply and internal rechargeable battery pack. The PS11 features a 6.9 in W x 6.5 in D / 18 cm W x 17 cm D stainless steel platform, NSF certification for food safety, and easy-to-read, 0.8-inch/20-mm high backlit LCD with checkweighing mode. The scale’s Tare feature lets you tare/zero the weight of a food container up to the full capacity of the scale. By using the checkweghing feature, you can select under and over weight limits for quickly checking food portion weights. The LCD will turn red for over weights, green for acceptable weights, and the backlit will turn off for under weights. Settings can be adjusted for gravity compensation.
