Similar in construction to the 1522KL, Health-o-meter's 522KL offers the same profile, but features digital display. Electronic baby scales are more convenient top operate compared to beam scales which require balancing a mechanical lever. Health-O-Meter infant scale can connect to electronic medical records but would require an in-house software specialist to configure.
Battery powered 522KL digital baby scale requires 6 "AA" batteries or can be purchased with an optional AC adapter (sold separately). Infant weighing tray features measuring tape so you can measure the length of the baby, not just the weight. Health-o-Meter's electronic infant scale is constructed of ABS plastic because it is easy-to-clean. It is important to have a baby scale that is easy to clean because it should always be disinfected after every use. This eliminates health risks to young babies from being exposed to germs.
