The battery operated 524KL digital baby scale takes 6 "AA" batteries or can be purchased with an AC adapter which costs extra. Child seat provides safety and comfort and reduces infant movement. Health-o-Meter's electronic pediatric scale is constructed of easy-to-clean ABS plastic. It is important to have a baby scale that can be cleaned easily because it should always be disinfected after every use. This eliminates health risks to young babies from being exposed to germs.
Similar in construction to the 1524KL mechanical baby scale, Healthometer's 524KL offers the same profile, but features more modern digital technology. Not only are electronic scales more convenient as far as reading the precise weighing units rather than eyeballing a mechanical lever, but they also offer electronic medical record connectivity (EMR) which hospitals may require. Please keep in mind that EMR requires an in-house software specialist to configure, and we cannot do this for you.
